He was clever and skilled, definitely the brightest of the Stark children. Luwin had no doubt that the boy would have little trouble doing so. He also had to deal with the consequences of Bran running off to capture the Dreadfort. In the end, only the Mormonts, Manderlys, Reeds, and Cerwyns were excluded. Luwin composed a heartfelt apology to every noble house with anything but unquestionable loyalty to House Stark. The Dustins were already upset with the Stark family and this only fanned the flames. The insulted parties didn’t include the head of house Umber, so Luwin wasn’t that concerned about their loyalty. The Umbers were quite upset with Bran and let everyone know it. Other houses were much harder to deal with. It was all an all a very positive outcome to a tricky situation. They also agreed to a joint mining venture paid for by Tony. They seemed to think the entire thing hilarious and refused recompense. The Knott and Norrey were in good spirits about the whole affair.
